GLP-1 clinic AI visibility is how often ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini name your program when patients ask where to start GLP-1 care, and Curve Compliance's AI Visibility measures it for the questions your patients actually ask. It shows which programs the answers name instead, catches what AI gets wrong about your program, flags medical topics for clinical review, and shows what to publish next. AI Visibility is a feature in Curve Compliance, and Curve also offers it as a managed service.

What patients ask AI about GLP-1 care

OpenAI's January 2026 report says “More than 5% of all ChatGPT messages globally are about healthcare” (OpenAI). KFF's June 2026 poll found “three in ten (29%) adults now say they use artificial intelligence (AI) tools or chatbots like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, or Claude for health information and advice monthly, nearly doubling in the past two years” (KFF). GLP-1 care is offered by online programs and local clinics alike, so the questions worth watching are the ones where a patient is choosing between them.

Those are often comparison questions, and Google says AI Mode is particularly helpful for queries where “further exploration, reasoning, or complex comparisons are needed” (Google). Google also says AI Overviews and AI Mode may use a “query fan-out” technique, “issuing multiple related searches across subtopics and data sources” to develop a response. So a single question about starting GLP-1 care can pull in pages about programs, insurance and what a first visit involves. The questions fall into a few kinds:

Kind of questionExample GLP-1 questionWhat the answers show
Commercialbest online GLP-1 program that takes insuranceWhich programs AI recommends when a patient is ready to start
Localweight loss clinic near [city]Whether AI names your clinic for nearby patients
Comparison[your program] vs [competitor]How AI describes you next to a named rival
Brandis [your program] legitWhether AI states your own facts correctly
Informationalwhat happens at a first GLP-1 visitWhich pages AI cites when it explains care

AI Visibility shows how often AI assistants name and cite your program for questions like these, whether your competitors are national online programs or clinics down the road.

Who AI names, and why

AI Visibility measures who AI names with three numbers: mention rate (how often AI answers name you), citation rate (how often they cite your site) and share of voice (your share of the mentions among the brands you compete with). It shows where competitors are named and you aren't, who leads each topic, and which sources AI cites.

Answers also differ from one assistant to the next. Google says “AI Mode and AI Overviews may use different models and techniques, so the set of responses and links they show will vary” (Google). A program that one assistant recommends can be missing from another's answer, so it pays to look at each.

What makes a program stand out to AI is mostly what makes it stand out to patients. Google says “Our AI systems take a look at a variety of sources, so it can be helpful to have a unique viewpoint that stands out” (Google). Your prescribers' own experience with patients is that viewpoint.

What AI gets wrong about your program

Accuracy matters in this category. Programs change the services they offer, the states they serve and the insurance they take, and an AI answer can repeat an old fact long after your site has moved on. A patient who reads the wrong fact may never reach your intake form. The fix is to state each fact plainly on your own pages, in text an assistant can read:

FactWhat to state plainlyWrong claim to look for
ServicesThe care your program offers todayA service you have stopped or never offered
Where you serveThe states or areas you can treat patients inA state you do not serve
InsuranceThe plans and payment options you acceptA plan you no longer accept
Getting startedHow a new patient starts with your programAn old intake step or contact detail

AI Visibility catches what AI gets wrong about your program, so you can correct it on the pages AI reads. More on this: when AI gets your practice wrong.

Clinical review stays with your clinicians

Anything medical on your site belongs to your prescribers, who should write or approve every clinical sentence. Google asks for the same: “Focus on developing unique, expert-led content that provides value beyond common knowledge,” and it warns that pages made for every search variation “primarily to manipulate rankings or generative AI responses in Google Search violates Google's scaled content abuse spam policy” (Google). For the ad claims regulators have flagged in this category, see compounded GLP-1 ad claims.

AI Visibility turns what it finds into a weekly roadmap sized to what your clinicians can publish, with medical topics flagged for clinical review. It measures what each published piece changes, so your team can see which program pages made a difference.

Can AI read your program pages?

An assistant can only cite what it can read. Anthropic says “Disabling Claude-User on your site prevents our system from retrieving your content in response to a user query, which may reduce your site's visibility for user-directed web search” (Claude Help Center). Perplexity says “PerplexityBot is designed to surface and link websites in search results on Perplexity” (Perplexity). Google's list of SEO basics for AI features includes “Making sure that important content is available in textual form” (Google).

If your program pages or intake quiz load their text with JavaScript, check what a crawler actually sees. Google says it “is able to process content within JavaScript as long as it isn't blocked” (Google), and the simplest way to be sure is to keep key facts in the page's own text. For crawler choices, see AI crawlers on healthcare websites.

AI Visibility checks whether AI search can read your site, and what to fix.

From AI answers to referral visits and bookings

AI Visibility ties AI answers to the visits and bookings they bring you, so you see new patients, not just mentions. For the referral side in detail, see ChatGPT referral traffic for GLP-1 clinics and AI search traffic to bookings.

AI Visibility is built for healthcare: only the marketing question you track is sent to AI assistants, screened for PHI first, and never anything about a patient. Curve is SOC 2 Type II and signs a BAA on every plan. See HIPAA-compliant AI visibility tracking.

How Curve Compliance helps

AI Visibility is a feature in Curve Compliance, and Curve also offers it as a managed service. With the managed service, Curve's team sets up your questions, competitors and topics, writes the pages on your roadmap, and makes the technical fixes that help AI assistants read your site. Your clinicians review and approve anything medical before it goes live.

Every week you get a plain-language summary of what changed. Each month, Curve's team walks you through your results on a call and sends a one-page report. AI Visibility is available on request: book a call to get started. See AI Visibility and the AI Visibility managed service.

In one AI Visibility program we've run, for a HIPAA-focused healthcare software brand, AI assistants named or cited the brand in more than half of their answers to its 40 core buyer questions about five weeks in. Across 184 buyer questions, its site was cited in more AI answers than any competitor's, more than 2.5 times as many as the nearest one.

Curve Compliance also tracks the program funnel itself. Curve replaces browser ad pixels with one script, sends conversions server-side to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Microsoft Advertising and LinkedIn, and strips PHI before data reaches an ad platform. Curve Forms gives you HIPAA-hosted intake and lead forms with ad attribution attached, and bookings made days later still match. Its team sets up the ad tracking for you. See Curve for GLP-1 clinics.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can a GLP-1 clinic see which programs AI recommends?
